Schedule: Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 36 Hours/Week
Position Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent Progressive Care/IMCU experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Available to start ASAP
Unit Details
- Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU)
- 16-bed / 10-bed unit
- Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:4
- 48-hour contracts available
Patient Population
- Sepsis
- Heart Failure
- Hypertensive Emergency
- Respiratory Failure
- COPD
- Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD)
- Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM)
- Substance Abuse
- Encephalopathy
Clinical Skills Required
- Management of Heparin Drips
- Care of moderately to critically ill medical patients
- Strong cardiac and respiratory assessment skills
