**Join Our Dynamic Mother/Baby Nursing Team!** **Job Description:** - Location: Overland Park, KS - Unit Name: Post Partum - Shift: 7A-7P - Number of Beds: 26 - Patient Ratios: 6-8 patients **Unit Highlights:** - Dynamic teamwork with fellow RNs, with tech support available when needed - Fully equipped with vital machines, glucometers, computers, and all necessary postpartum supplies - Documentation using CPN and Meditech **Scheduling Requirements:** - Flexibility for 2 hard-to-staff shifts (Monday/Friday) - One full weekend commitment every 3rd week, plus an additional weekend **Onboarding & Experience:** - No on-call requirements - Floating policy within women’s services unless cross-trained to pediatrics or NICU - Must be familiar with post-partum care, LDRP, well-baby nursery, and attending births **Required Skills & Qualifications:** - Graduated from an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred - Strong understanding of unit workflow and ability to recognize risks (e.g., sepsis, VTE/DVT) - Expertise in discharge education, abnormal assessments, pain management, and prioritizing patient needs - Familiarity with AIDET and BSSR principles **Dress Code:** - Black scrub pants and Caribbean blue scrub top, vest, or jacket **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
