Our unit is easy to settle into with the scheduling is flexible, the ratios are generally steady and pick up extra shifts are often available. The team has a mix of experience, with a lot of newer nurses but we are genuinely welcoming. Our unit has great exposure to postpartum and newborn skills, work closely with OB, pediatricians, and lactation, and be part of a unit that maintains, and keeps the vibe positive and respectful. It's a solid, environment where people enjoy coming to work.
