**Join Our Team as a Postpartum RN – Make a Difference in New Lives!** **Job Description:** - **Unit:** Postpartum (660) - **Classification:** RN – Postpartum / Newborn Nursery - **Shift:** 7P - **Assignment Length:** 13 weeks - **Guaranteed Hours:** 36 - **Weekend Requirement:** Every Other - **Call Requirements:** Discuss during the interview - **Documentation System:** Meditech - **Floating Policy:** As needed **Requested Skill Set:** - **Must Have:** - NRP Certification - BLS Certification - Experience caring for high-risk Antepartum patients as well as Postpartum recoveries - Newborn Nursery experience - Minimum of 2+ years of Hospital Experience - **Preferred Skills:** - Advanced FM experience (a plus) - RNC-OB Certification (a plus) - Experience with Meditech **Specialty/Unit Certifications Required:** - ACTIVE TX RN LICENSE (Temporary license will NOT be accepted) **Procedures Performed on Unit:** - IV placement **Patient Experience Required:** - Antepartum Care - Newborn Nursery Care **Dress Code:** - **Scrub Color:** Royal Blue - **Nail Policy:** Clean and healthy; no artificial nails, gel, next gen, etc. - **Hair:** Neat, clean; no extreme styles or colors. Beards, mustaches, and sideburns should be clean and neatly trimmed.
