- Unit Highlights: 25-bed postpartum unit with a patient ratio of 1:5-6
- EMR: Meditech and CPN
Job Requirements
- Active RN license
- BLS certification required
- NRP certification required
- Mother/Baby RN or postpartum nursing experience required
- At least 1 year of nursing experience required
- Comfort working with postpartum patients and GYN surgical patients
- Warm, professional, and patient-centered communication style
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to postpartum mothers and newborns in a Mother/Baby unit
- Monitor recovery, assessments, and ongoing patient needs in the postpartum setting
- Support patients following delivery and GYN surgeries
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to promote safe, efficient, and compassionate patient care
- Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record
- Contribute to a warm, supportive, and family-centered environment for patients and families
