Prime Time Healthcare Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in Akron, Ohio.

Job Highlights
- 23-bed PICU | Average census: 20
- Travelers are first to float
- May float to Summa location in addition to Akron main campus
- Float to acute care inpatient units and NICU; traveler will be accompanied when floating to NICU
- Locals accepted - No radius rule
Required Experience
- 2 years of experience required
- PICU experience
- Ventilator management
- Experience caring for high-acuity pediatric patients
- Epic experience preferred
Required License / Certifications
- Ohio or Compact RN license in hand at submission – no exceptions
- BLS
- ACLS
- PALS
- BSN required for consideration (Magnet facility)
Unit Details
- Patient population: Pediatrics, adolescents, and some adults
- Broad PICU population including cardiac and trauma patients
- ECMO program
- CRRT
- Post-op cardiac
- Neurosurgery
- Equipment:
- Servo ventilators
- Alaris IV pumps
- Philips monitors
Interdisciplinary Support

Additional Notes
- Flu vaccine required; medical/religious exemptions accepted
- COVID vaccine not required
- Former Akron employees may return as travelers as long as they are not currently active employees.
