Job Summary
Pediatric Registered Nurse (RN) Oakland, California. This position involves working on a Pediatric Floor providing inpatient care for adolescent, infant, and pediatric patient populations. The RN will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a dynamic setting, with the opportunity to float to other healthcare facilities within the region as needed.
Job Details
- Schedule: Dayshift, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: California RN license in hand, BSN degree, one year of experience, proficient in Epic charting system, able to work on pediatric inpatient units.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), Phase I and II Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), trauma center experience, and previous inpatient pediatric nursing.
- Float: Float rotation may be required during assignment.
- Additional Information: The role is focused on working in Radiology as a Pediatric RN in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), with specific procedures including sedation and anesthesia recovery. The applicant must complete MRI safety training, and must have certifications such as BLS and PALS. Orientation begins on the Monday before the start date at 4:00 pm Pacific Standard Time (PST). Candidates must provide employment history including dates worked, units, and manager names for all previous employment with University of California medical facilities.
