Job Summary:
Operating Room Nurse specialized in Pediatrics at an urban healthcare facility in Oakland, California. This position involves providing specialized perioperative care for pediatric patients within a dynamic surgical environment. The role offers flexibility with variable shifts and the opportunity to float to other UCSF facilities as needed.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: California nursing license, BSN degree, 3 years of clinical experience, certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR).
- Preferred Qualifications: Pediatric-specific operating room experience, ambulatory surgical experience, and trauma level I or II experience.
- Certifications: BLS, CNOR, PALs.
- Skills: Experience with pediatric surgical procedures, blood and blood product administration, and familiarity with Epic charting system.

- Additional Information: The position requires the ability to float to other UCSF campuses and provide care for neonatal, adolescent, and pediatric patient populations. The facility comprises 11 surgical suites with a multidisciplinary team-based approach.
