Job Summary:
Pediatric Medical Floor Registered Nurse (RN) traveler position in a Children's Hospital setting located in Highlands Ranch. This role involves providing specialized pediatric medical-surgical care on a 12-hour night shift, with a focus on patient safety, comfort, and recovery. The position is part of a 13-week assignment starting on 12/15/2026 through 03/20/2027.
Job Details:
- Shift: 12-Hour Nights, 6:45 PM 7:15 AM
- Schedule: Minimum of 36 hours per week
- Location: Highlands Ranch, Colorado, within the Denver Metro area, up to 35 miles from the assigned facility
- Position Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
- Active registered nurse (RN) license required
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Minimum of 2 years of Pediatric Med/Surg experience required
- Previous travel experience required
- Preferred Qualifications:
- More than 2 years of Pediatric Med/Surg experience
- Float policy adherence: float within units outlined by hospital policy; float within Denver Metro area up to 35 miles from original assignment
- Additional Information:
- RTO (Request for Time Off) not permitted during the first two weeks; maximum of 5 days RTO during the entire 13-week contract
- Pediatric Med/Surg experience is mandatory.
- Mandatory compliance with all hospital requirements prior to start.
- Candidate must be available for at least one holiday and holiday eve.
- The facility reserves the right to float or reassign personnel within their scope of practice as needed.
