Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 1 year required (2 years preferred in job requirements)
- Travel Experience: Accepted; first-time travelers are welcome
- State License: Active New York RN License required at submission (No Exceptions)
- EMR: Epic experience is mandatory
- Required Certifications:
- BLS
- NIHSS
- Preferred Certification:
- ACLS
- Charge Nurse Experience: Preferred
Submission Guidelines
- Must live more than 75 miles from the facility (locals are not accepted)
- Maximum RTO: 10 days
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- Floating: Required to ICU or Medical-Surgical units
- Return Traveler Eligibility: 6 months system-wide
- COVID-19 Vaccine: Not required
- Flu Vaccine: Unknown
Patient Ratios
- Days: 1:3
- Nights: 1:4
- Must be comfortable taking Med-Surg assignments up to a 1:5–1:7 ratio when needed.
