PCU / Cardiac Stepdown RN travel assignment:
- Weekly Hours: 36 hours/week
- Shift: 12-hour Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- On-Call: Only if census is low
- Unit: 36-bed Cardiac IMCU / PCU
- Patient Ratios:
- Cardiac: 1:5–6
- PCU/Stepdown: 1:3–4
- Experience Required: Minimum 1 year of PCU/Stepdown experience (job summary also notes 2+ years overall RN experience)
- Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
- EMR: Cerner
- Floating: Yes, as needed
- Key Skills: Cardiac monitoring, chest tubes, cardiac drips, telemetry, post-open heart, vascular, stroke/TIA, CHF, pacemakers, heart blocks
- Scrubs: Blue or Navy
