Job Description:

Registered Nurse needed for the Progressive Care Unit to provide patient care, monitor patients' conditions, and administer medications including titratable drips.

Responsibilities:

• Provide care for adult patients with cardiac, med/surg, dialysis, cancer, vascular, sepsis, respiratory, stroke, post-stent, or pacer placement, and renal failure diagnoses.
• Administer and titrate various drips including Heparin, Nitro, Dopamine, Cardizem, Amiodarone, and insulin.
• Read and interpret telemetry strips.
• Utilize high flow respiratory equipment.
• Participate in team-oriented care and maintain communication about patient care and medication.

Requirements:

• Valid RN license.
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• Competency in arterial lines.
• Must pass an open book exam with a score of 90% or higher.
• Flexibility to float to MedSurg or ICU.
