Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• 2 years of nursing experience required
• Step-down, progressive care, telemetry, or ICU experience
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Current NIHSS certification
• Ability to float as needed
• Strong communication skills and a flexible, team-oriented attitude

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care for adult cardiac, telemetry, and progressive care patients
• Monitor patients recovering from cardiac cath lab procedures, cardioversions, and other cardiac treatments
• Assess, plan, and implement individualized patient care in a progressive care environment
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support safe, effective outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation using the facility’s EHR system
• Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and escalate concerns appropriately
• Deliver compassionate care while supporting a smooth, efficient unit workflow
