Job Description:
The registered nurse will provide care for patients in the Neuro Stepdown unit featuring 30 beds, with a ratio of 4:1. Responsibilities include managing equipment such as Vapotherm, Bipap, Trachs, and titrating cardiac drips, and ensuring proper documentation in Meditech.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and administer patient care with diligent attention to patient ratios on the Neuro Stepdown unit.
- Perform procedures such as lumbar puncture and chest tube placement.
- Utilize strong critical thinking skills in acute care and Neuro stepdown environments.
Requirements:
- BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- Strong nursing skills and time management capabilities.
- Experience working in stepdown care units, including stroke and neuro-related care.
