Shift: 7:00AM - 7:00PM, with equivalent of every other weekend required.
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Unit. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cardiac care, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care. The nurse will work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Conduct bedside and hourly rounding to enhance patient experience.
- Manage telemetry application and respond promptly to alarms.
- Administer medications and manage IV drips including Heparin, Cardizem, Dobutamine, Dopamine, and Amiodarone.
- Perform procedures as required, including chest tube and wound vac management, and EKGs.
- Document patient care and telemetry information meticulously in Meditech-HCA version.
- Collaborate with nursing staff, hospitalists, and charge nurses to deliver exceptional patient care.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Current RN licensure and certifications in BLS and ACLS are required.
- Cardiac knowledge is preferred.
- Experience in telemetry and cardiac care environments is highly desirable.
