**Exciting Opportunity for a Progressive Care RN!** **Job Description:** - **Position Title:** BACKFILL TRAVEL - RN - D2 - PCU - CLINICAL DECISION UNIT - **Shift:** 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM - **Unit Information:** - **Number of Beds:** 20 - **Staffing:** - Day Shift: 1 Charge Nurse, 4 RNs, 2 CNAs - Night Shift: 1 Charge Nurse, 4 RNs, 2 CNAs - **Patient Ratios:** 1:5/1:6 (stretch dependent on level of care) - **Patient Types:** Inpatient overflow unit with mixed levels of care (medical-surgical and/or step-down patients) - **Average Length of Stay:** Short-stay (<24 hours) - **Turnover:** Quick turnaround of patients - **Equipment:** Telemetry (all patients hardwired to bedside monitor if telemetry monitoring is indicated) - **EMR:** Cerner - **Skills Required:** - **Must Have:** - Telemetry competency - Progressive care experience - **Preferred:** - Recent progressive care experience - **Procedures Typically Performed:** - (List procedures based on unit specifics, as applicable) - **Ideal Candidate:** - Positive attitude - Patient experience-focused - Kind and compassionate - Team player who works well with others - **Required Certifications:** - BLS and ACLS - **Floating Areas:** - Travelers may be required to float to other units as needed. - **Dress Code:** - Scrub Color/Attire: Navy and/or white top, navy bottom, all white shoes - **Weekends and Call:** - Every other weekend required - No on-call requirements - **Experience Required:** - Minimum 2 years **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
