**Exciting Opportunity for Registered Nurses in Progressive Care Unit!** **Job Description:** Join our dynamic clinical team in a fast-paced Progressive Care Unit (PCU) where every day is an opportunity to make a significant impact on patient care! **Unit Information:** - **Number of Beds:** 20 - **Staffing:** - Day Shift: 1 Charge RN, 4 RNs, 2 CNAs - Night Shift: 1 Charge RN, 4 RNs, 2 CNAs - **Patient Ratios:** 1:5 to 1:6, stretch dependent on level of care - **Patient Population:** Inpatient overflow unit with mixed level of care including medical-surgical and step-down patients - **Average Length of Stay:** Short stay (<24 hours) targeted for this unit - **Turnover Rate:** Quick turnover for efficient operation - **Equipment:** Telemetry; all patients hardwired to bedside monitors if indicated - **Electronic Medical Record (EMR):** Cerner **Qualifications:** **Must Have Skills:** - Telemetry competency - Prior progressive care experience (2+ years required) **Nice to Have Skills:** - Recent experience in a progressive care environment **Typical Procedures Performed:** - Diverse medical and surgical patient care procedures **Best Personality Fit:** - Positive attitude - Patient experience-focused - Kind and compassionate - Team player who works well with others **Required Certifications:** - BLS - ACLS **Flexibility:** - Travelers may be required to float to other units as needed **Dress Code:** - Scrubs: Navy and/or white top with navy bottoms, all white shoes **Work Schedule:** - Every other weekend required - No call duties **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
