**Join Our Team as a Registered Nurse - Intermediate Care!** **Job Description:** - **Position Status:** Open - **Contract Duration:** 08/20/26 to 09/17/26 (4 Weeks) - **Hours:** 36 Hours/week, 12H Night (07:00 PM - 07:30 AM) - **Unit:** R4 Progressive Care - **Cost Center:** 14522 6640 855 - **Number of Positions Available:** 1 **Why You'll Love This Role:** - Be part of a skilled float team within a dynamic Progressive Care Unit. - Work with a variety of cases, enhancing your experience and nursing skills. - Engage in real-time healthcare scenarios that require critical thinking and swift decision-making. - Opportunity to work with a diverse patient population. **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide exceptional care for patients with acute conditions. - Manage insulin and cardiac drips, starting IVs, and post-cardiac catheterization care. - Float to different units as assigned, working closely with a collaborative team to meet patient needs. **Requirements:** - Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications. - NIHSS certification required prior to start. - Minimum of 1 year of telemetry experience is necessary. - Epic experience from within the past 2 years is **non-negotiable**. - Must have reliable transportation — personal or rental vehicle recommended. **Schedule:** - Work every other weekend. - Flexibility in scheduling to meet the unit’s needs. - No block schedules permitted. **Work Environment:** - Team of 3 staff members per shift — including nurse, telemetry tech, and ancillary support. - Orientation period of 1-2 days ensures you’re fully prepared. - Professional standards for appearance: navy blue or white scrubs, closed-toe nonskid shoes, and minimal jewelry. **Patient Population:** - Adults with conditions such as Acute Coronary Syndrome, cardiac diagnoses, and recovery from major vascular surgeries. **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
