Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of recent PACU nurse or related specialty experience
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
• NIHSS certification required
• Strong post-anesthesia recovery, patient assessment, and clinical judgment skills
• Ability to work a weekday schedule and meet holiday expectations as assigned

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate care to patients recovering from anesthesia and surgical procedures
• Monitor vital signs, pain levels, airway status, and overall recovery progression
• Respond quickly to changes in patient condition and escalate concerns appropriately
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the care team to support smooth patient flow
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and thoroughly
• Support a high-standard PACU environment focused on quality, safety, and patient comfort
