Job Requirements

• Current Colorado RN license or compact RN license, if applicable
• Minimum 1 year of current PACU hospital experience
• BLS and ACLS required
• Experience in a fast-paced, team-oriented surgical recovery environment
• Preferred: trauma center, thoracic, neuro, or pediatric experience
• Strong adaptability, positive attitude, and flexibility in a changing clinical setting

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality post-anesthesia nursing care to surgical patients
• Monitor patients in Phase I and Phase II recovery using established clinical protocols
• Assess patient status, manage recovery needs, and escalate concerns promptly
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the PACU care team
• Support a broad surgical population, excluding transplant, open heart, and burn cases
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR and follow unit standards
• Contribute to a calm, healing environment for patients and families
