Job Summary:
Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse (RN) position is based in an outpatient procedure environment. The role involves delivering coordinated nursing care to patients recovering from anesthesia, supervising nursing staff, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Day shift on a 5x8 outpatient procedure unit, requiring 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred; PACU experience preferred; RN licensure in the state of practice required; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor required; EPIC experience required.
- Additional Information: The RN will collect relevant patient data, analyze assessment findings, develop and implement care plans, coordinate care, and participate in discharge planning. Responsibilities also include delegating duties to healthcare team members and providing education to patients and their families. All healthcare associates are required to receive all mandated vaccinations as a condition of employment and annually thereafter, where applicable.
