Job Summary
A Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Nurse position is available in a rural hospital setting in Farmington, New Mexico. The role involves providing recovery care for adult patients following surgeries, with a focus on trauma level III procedures. The position is expected to start promptly within ten business days of acceptance.
Job Details
- Location: Farmington, New Mexico
- Facility Name: San Juan Regional Medical Center
- Department: Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)
- Shift: Days, 8:30 AM 6:30 PM
- Schedule: Shift hours consist of 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: RN degree; Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); 3 years of experience; No specific location requirement
- Unit Profile: 7-bed unit with patient ratios of 1:1 to 1:2; providing recovery care for general surgery, orthopedics, neurology, obstetrics/gynecology, urology, ENT, and robotics
- Additional Information: Candidates must be able to clear background and start within 10 business days of offer acceptance to qualify for rapid onboarding.
- Float Requirements: Possibly to Preoperative or Endoscopy units.
- Experience Suggests: Recovery for Pediatric patients preferred, along with general recovery skills.
