The Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) specialist position is located in a busy hospital setting in Fort Worth, Texas. Job Details
- Location: 900 8th Avenue, Fort Worth, TX 76104
- Schedule: Days, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: No certifications required; however, candidates should have at least 1 year of experience in Post Anesthesia Care Unit or equivalent healthcare setting.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with General, Neuro, Oncology, Orthopedics, and Vascular surgical procedures. Previous experience working with EMR systems, specifically Meditech, is preferred.
- Responsibilities: Provide immediate post-operative care, monitor patient recovery, assess vital signs, and collaborate with surgical staff to ensure smooth patient transition from anesthesia.
- Additional Information: The unit offers state-of-the-art equipment, a pleasant work environment, and a highly experienced staff. The role requires an easy-going and adaptable personality, with the ability to work efficiently during varied shift times including night and weekend coverage.
- On Call: On call only.
