- Number of Beds - 44
- Number of Staff –
- Type of staff:
- Day Shift – varies on # with census, patient free charge nurse, PCT approx. 10-11 pts
- Night Shift – Same as days
- Patient Ratios – 1:5 RN days and nights, when possible, max 1:6
- Type of equipment - Some lifts for mobility. Chest Tubes, Hemavac Drains, Wound Vacs, JP drains, PCA, Foley
- EMR - Meditech
Typical hiring profile
Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters)
Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
- BLS
- Minimum 1-year current acute care hospital Ortho experience
Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first.
- Ortho/ Trauma background preferred
- Medical/Surgical acceptable and welcomed
List typical procedures performed on unit(s):
- Drain removal
- PICC line placements with Infusion team
