**Join Our Dynamic Ortho Trauma Team!** - **Unit Information: Ortho Trauma Specialty Medsurge** - **Location:** 3901 W. 15th Street, Plano TX 75075 - **Floor:** A4 - **Building:** A Tower - **General Information:** - **Number of Beds:** 36 - **Number of Staff:** - **Day Shift:** 1 Charge Nurse, 8 RNs, 3 CNAs - **Night Shift:** 1 Charge Nurse, 8 RNs, 3 CNAs - **Patient Ratios:** 1:5 (Flex to 6) - **Type of Equipment:** Tele - **EMR:** Meditech - **Typical Hiring Profile:** - **Skill Set Most Recruited For:** - **Must Have:** - 1 Year MS Experience - BLS Certification - **Preferred or Nice to Have:** - Ortho and/or Trauma Patient Experience - **Typical Procedures Performed/Common Diagnoses:** - Polytrauma Patients - Non-surgical Cervical Fractures Cleared by Spine - Ortho Trauma with Downgraded TBI - Patients with No More Than 3 Drains - Burn Downgrades - Heparin and Protonix Drips - **Best Personality Fit:** - Team Player - **Dress Code:** - **Scrub Color/Attire:** Royal Blue - **Unit Guidelines/Policies:** - Be on the unit by 0645/1845 for Huddle. - Tardy by hospital policy by 0653/1853 - **Weekends and On Call (if any):** - 4 Weekend Commitment Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol): At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
