Responsibilities
- Provide professional nursing care in the operating room setting.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to changes in patient condition during surgery.
- Prepare and maintain the operating room for surgical procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and safety standards.
- Administer medications and assist in the administration of blood products as required.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Requirements
- Permanent MA nursing license.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an operating room setting.
- Level 1 Trauma experience is required.
- BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
- NRP certification is required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week with no weekends or on-call requirements.
