• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Day shift, 4x10-hour schedule (09:00 - 19:30)
• Shift Length: 10 hours
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,620 - $2,760
• Orientation: 12 hours
• Weekend Requirement: 1 weekend every 6 weeks
• Scheduling: No floating or blocked scheduling
• Charting System: Epic

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BSN required
• Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room experience
• Trauma experience required
• Travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers considered with strong clinical experience
• BLS certification required
• Ability to scrub a variety of surgical cases, including general, gyn, GU, ortho, neuro, vascular, and robotic surgery
• Experience with Epic preferred
• Comfort working with adult and geriatric patient populations

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled perioperative nursing support in the operating room
• Scrub and assist with a broad mix of surgical cases, including total joints, neuro, hybrid vascular, and robotics
• Maintain a safe, efficient, and organized surgical environment
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the perioperative team
• Support patient safety through universal protocol, sterile technique, and OR best practices
• Document accurately in Epic and remain flexible in a busy surgical department
• Contribute to a team-oriented environment focused on high-quality patient care
