Job Requirements

• At least 2 years of Operating Room RN experience
• Epic experience required
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Virginia or a valid compact RN license
• Current BLS certification from AHA
• Current ACLS certification
• Experience supporting a variety of surgical cases, including general surgery, trauma, orthopedics, vascular, gynecology, urology, bariatrics, robotics, and thoracic cases

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality perioperative nursing care in the operating room
• Assist with a broad range of surgical procedures and support the surgical team throughout the shift
• Maintain accurate documentation and workflow in Epic
• Participate in the on-call rotation as scheduled
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and perioperative staff to promote efficient case flow
• Follow facility policies, safety standards, and scrub color/dress code requirements
