Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Operating Room – Anchorage, AK 99508
Start Date: September 8, 2026
Location: Anchorage, Alaska
Schedule: 4x10-hour day shifts (shift times vary: either 06:45-17:15 or 09:00-19:30). Weekend coverage required. Limited call coverage for call-offs only. Guaranteed 60 hours per 2-week period.

- Comprehensive surgical services including orthopedic/spine, neurosurgery, trauma, vascular, bariatric, gynecology, ENT, urology, and pediatrics
- Advanced surgical technology including XI Robot, Stealth, and Mazor Robot Spine systems
- Epic charting system with interdisciplinary support including pharmacy, lift teams, and interpretation services
- Free parking and scrubs provided
Requirements:
- Active Alaska RN license required (pending licenses accepted for submission, but license must be in hand for final offer)
- Minimum 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience required
- BLS certification required; ACLS and CNOR preferred
- Epic charting system experience required
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred; first-time travelers not accepted
- Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
- Hepatitis B vaccination required (titers or declination not accepted)
- Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
- Willingness to work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year)
- Ability to float to similar units within scope as needed
