Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) with a minimum of 3 years of experience to provide exceptional patient care in a Level II Trauma center. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in general OR cases, along with proficiency in robotic surgery, including DaVinci systems.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in the operating room.
- Assist in scrubbing and circulating during various surgical procedures.
- Administer medications and monitor patient vitals throughout surgical operations.
- Coordinate with surgical teams to ensure effective patient management before, during, and after surgery.
- Participate in on-call shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Active RN license in Maryland or compact state.
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
- 3 years of OR experience required; 2 years may be considered with strong relevant experience.
- Experience with Epic EMR is mandatory.
- Robotics experience, specifically with DaVinci systems, is required.
