🩺 What You’ll Be Doing
As an Operating Room RN, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring safe, efficient surgical procedures and excellent patient outcomes.
- Provide pre-, intra-, and post-operative nursing care
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams
- Maintain sterile environment and ensure OR safety protocols
- Monitor patient condition and respond to changes
- Educate patients and families on procedures and recovery
- Document care in accordance with hospital guidelines
- Assist with surgical procedures as needed
✅ Requirements
- Active RN License (Colorado or Compact)
- BLS (AHA) – Required
- 1+ year of OR experience
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ASN required)
- Strong clinical judgment and teamwork skills
⭐ Preferred
- BSN
- Previous travel OR experience
- Additional certifications (ACLS, CNOR – a plus)
