• Shift Duration: 10-hour day shifts
• Schedule: 4x10 days with a rotating day off
• Hours Per Week: 40
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,020 - $2,130
• Charting System: Epic
• Orientation: 20 hours onsite orientation
• Call: Rotating call day required
• Patient Population: Adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Setting: Operating Room / Surgical Services

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in hand at time of submittal
• Minimum of 1 year of Operating Room or perioperative nursing experience required
• Experience with Epic charting preferred or required
• BLS certification required
• Strong clinical judgment and adaptability in a fast-paced surgical setting
• Ability to participate in rotating call coverage
• Comfort supporting a broad range of surgical cases and patient ages
• Travel nursing experience is a plus, but first-time travelers are welcome

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality perioperative nursing care before, during, and after surgical procedures
• Assist with a wide variety of surgical cases, including general OR, ortho/spine, thoracic, trauma, vascular, gynecologic, urologic, ENT, and other complex procedures
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the interdisciplinary care team to support safe patient outcomes
• Monitor patient status and maintain a sterile, efficient, and organized operating environment
• Document accurately in Epic and follow established OR workflows
• Adapt quickly to changing case needs and contribute to smooth day-to-day surgical flow
• Support quality patient care across adolescent, adult, pediatric, and geriatric populations
