**Join Our Team as an OR Nurse!** - Are you ready to take your nursing career to the next level? - Do you thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment? - Join us in making a difference in patients' lives every day! **Job Description:** - Perform the perioperative nursing role with expertise, including: - Preoperative assessment of the patient - Formulation of nursing care plans - Implementation of operative care plans - Postoperative evaluation of patient responses/outcomes - Evaluate the effectiveness of nursing care provided, complete documentation appropriately - Assist in setting up and performing surgical cases by: - Assembling equipment and supplies following sterile technique - Opening sterile packs, instruments, and supplies as per protocols - Prepare patients for surgery by: - Positioning them appropriately - Preparing the operative site - Confirming procedures and sites with the surgical team - Helping to safely move patients to and from the operating table - Conduct surgical counts (sponges, sharps, instruments) and document nursing care on legal records - Participate in the clean-up of the operating room after surgery, including: - Proper disposal of used supplies and sharps **Requirements:** - Current RN License - Minimum of one (1) year of surgical experience - Bachelor’s Degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience - Certifications: BLS/BCLS **Shift Information:** - Full-Time Days **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
