**Exciting Opportunity for an RN in Surgical Services!** **Job Description:** - Join our dynamic team of healthcare professionals in a fast-paced surgical environment! - Engage in a variety of surgical cases, including: - General Surgery - OB/GYN - Ophthalmology (Cataract Surgery) - Orthopedics (once to twice a month) - Your role will encompass providing direct patient care across all three critical areas: - Pre-op - OR/Circulator - PACU - Responsibilities include: - Conducting assessments and documenting care - Providing emotional support to patients and families - Coordinating transfers and recovering patients - Circulating cases and assisting with processing instruments/equipment in central sterilizing - Preparing patients for surgery and educating them about procedures - Adhering to infection control principles and department policies - Following national standards through IAHCSMM, AORN, ASGE, and ASPAN - **Schedule and Availability:** - Full-time position: 40 hours/week - Rotational call with other staff members - Flexible hours with a general time frame of 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday - Occasional late days and weekend rotations may be required - **What You Need:** - RN graduate with current Colorado licensure - Minimum of 6 years of experience in Pre-op, OR, and PACU - ACLS certification; CNOR and scrub experience preferred - Ability to thrive in high-stress situations and communicate effectively with diverse individuals - Physical capability to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
