Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Operating Room – Tyler, TX 75701
Start Date: September 8, 2026
Location: Tyler, Texas
Schedule: Day shift, Monday-Friday, 06:30-15:00 (10-hour shifts with rotating day off). Call required 1-2 shifts every 6 weeks. Minimal weekend coverage (2 weekend shifts per contract).
Highlights:
- 13-week travel assignment in a busy Operating Room with 14 rooms and a daily census of 45
- Diverse surgical case mix including Orthopedic, General, Neuro, Vascular, and Urology procedures
- Opportunity to work with advanced technology including DaVinci Robotic systems and endovascular procedures
- Minimal call requirements with predictable weekday schedule
- Epic charting system experience required
- Patient population includes adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
Requirements:
- Active RN license (state or compact license must be in hand at time of application)
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience
- Travel nursing experience required
- Required surgical experience: Orthopedic, General, Neuro, Vascular, and Urology cases
- Preferred experience: DaVinci Robotic surgery, endovascular procedures, and ophthalmic cases
- Epic charting system proficiency required
- Trauma Level I experience required
