Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) nurse in a hospital setting, responsible for providing perioperative care in a fast-paced environment. The role involves scrubbing and circulating during surgeries, with a strong focus on orthopedic, spine, and robotics procedures. The position requires adherence to hospital protocols and collaborative teamwork to ensure patient safety and successful surgical outcomes.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 10-hour day/evening shifts with a rotating schedule 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM.
- Required Qualifications: Valid BLS certification from the American Heart Association, Massachusetts licensed registered nurse, experience with electronic medical record system (Epic), ACLS certification from the American Heart Association, and a strong background in orthopedic, spine, and robotics surgeries. Must have at least 6 years of experience in operating room nursing.
- Preferred Qualifications: CNOR certification.
- Additional Information: Must have scrubbing and circulating skills. Orientation period lasts one week. No local candidates will be accepted. Candidates must be separated from their previous employment with the healthcare provider for at least six months. Hours are strictly during scrubbing hours only.
