Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse in Reno, NV. This position involves providing comprehensive perioperative patient care within a Level II Trauma OR. The role requires delivering safe, efficient care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients undergoing various complex procedures, including trauma, neurosurgery, robotics, urology, vascular, and pediatrics.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: NV State Registered Nurse license prior to start; BLS and ACLS certifications; pre-operative/post-anesthesia care unit (PACU), operating room (OR), and specialized skills such as Surgical Duration Service (SDS) with CMP completed within 1 year of start date; 2 years experience in Trauma OR setting.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with neurosurgery, robotics, and pediatric procedures.
- Additional Information: This position demands strong clinical judgement, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in perioperative nursing. The RN will be responsible for assessment, planning, and execution of individualized patient care episodes throughout the surgical process, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
