Operating Room (OR) Nurse Burlington, Vermont. This position involves providing specialized perioperative nursing care in a busy trauma level 1 facility. The role requires flexibility, strong technical skills, and experience working in complex surgical environments, including trauma, orthopedics, oncology, and robotic surgery.
Job Details
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12-hour hours, minimum of 36 hours per week, with rotation to weekends and call, as schedule must be flexible.
- Required Qualifications: 2 years of experience in a hospital setting; prior travel experience; large trauma level 1 experience; EPIC electronic medical record system experience within the past 2 years; ability to both circulate and scrub with skills checklists available; strong experience in general surgery with skills in ortho, urology, oncology, Da Vinci Robotics, ENT, dental, plastics, neuro, cardiovascular therapy (CVT), and trauma.
- Additional Information: The assignment runs from 08/24/2026, with no block scheduling; bi-weekly orientations on Mondays; all employment gaps over 90 days must be explained; complete work history including bed count, EMR, and facility type required for submission.
- Disclaimers: Reliable transportation is strongly recommended as public transportation is not accessible; vehicles should be equipped with all-season or snow tires from November through April.
