Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Nurse in a healthcare facility. This position involves providing specialized perioperative patient care within the operating suite. The role requires prior Epic electronic medical record (EMR) system experience and adherence to the specified dress code. The assignment begins on 09/21/2026 and concludes on 11/22/2026, with a schedule of 10 hours per day and a minimum of 40 hours per week. The candidate must be available for on-call duties approximately 3-4 times per month in the evening hours.
Job Details
- Schedule: 10-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week, from 09/21/2026 to 11/22/2026
- Required Qualifications: Certifications in operating room nursing, Epic electronic medical record (EMR) experience, appropriate educational background, and local (as per list of ineligible counties) nursing licensure. Candidates with pending state licensure will be considered.
- Preferred Qualifications: Prior OR experience, familiarity with hospital protocols, and ability to float to other units if needed.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: The position is for a single vacancy, with a floating day off during the week. No weekends or holidays are scheduled. On-call responsibilities are required approximately 3-4 times per month from 5:30 PM to 9:30 PM. The employer expects candidates to adhere to the dress code of navy blue scrubs and to follow facility-specific protocols.
