Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse Mids, available in a hospital setting. This position involves providing surgical nursing care in a Level II Trauma center, supporting a variety of general and specialized procedures including trauma, robotics, ortho, neuro, gyn, and more. The role requires strong general OR experience and skill in scrubbing and circulating. The starting date is 09/14/2026, with a contract duration of 13 weeks.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 3x12 hour shifts (11:00 AM - 11:00 PM), with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid RN license in the state of Maryland, BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
- Preferred Qualifications: 2 years of OR experience, experience with robotics, trauma, neuro, ortho, gynecology, and general OR procedures.
- Certifications: BLS required; ACLS preferred.
- Additional Information:
- Experience with electronic medical records using Epic is required.
- The role includes rotating weekends, on-call responsibilities (5-6 calls per 4-week period), and holiday work as scheduled.
- On-call shifts include weekday/weeknight and weekend calls; candidates must arrive within 30 minutes of being called.
- Floating within the specialty and to a sister campus as needed is required.
- The candidate should be comfortable with a diverse range of surgical procedures and equipment.
- Travel experience and community hospital experience are preferred but not required.
