Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse (RN) position in a fast-paced surgery center located in the Denver area. The role involves providing surgical nursing care across a variety of service lines, with a focus on orthopedics, ENT, pediatrics, gynecology, podiatry, plastic surgery, and urology. The RN will work a five-day week, with potential to float to different surgery centers within the region, supporting a stable and experienced team to ensure quality patient care.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Candidates must have a minimum of 1-year current acute care operating room (OR) registered nurse (RN) experience, Basic Life Support (BLS), and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience circulating a variety of service lines in a fast-paced environment and pediatrics experience are highly desirable.
- Float: Float rotation may be required to all surgery centers in the Denver area.
- Additional Information: The unit features a stable team with longevity, offering a dynamic work environment with new equipment and technology. The facility handles a diverse caseload, providing interesting cases and opportunities for professional growth. The unit maintains a patient ratio of 1:1 in the OR and 2:1 in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU).
