Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Nurse in a large hospital setting. This role involves working day shifts from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with late stay requirements based in the main operating room. The position requires circulating experience and prior travel experience, with a focus on diverse adult patient populations across various service lines. The contract spans approximately six months, with start and end dates in October 2026 and April 2027 respectively.
Job Details
- Schedule: Days, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, at least 2 years of operating room experience, prior travel experience, circulating experience in a 56-bed inpatient and outpatient surgical setting, level 1 trauma certification preferred
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with adult patient populations, exposure to multiple case types including neuro, trauma, general, ortho, GYN, urology, ENT, plastics, cardiothoracic, vascular, transplant, robotic, hybrid rooms, ambulatory ortho, burn, hepatic-biliary
- Float: Float rotation may be required (none specified for this role)
- Additional Information: Start dates are scheduled for 9/14, 9/28, 10/5, 10/12, and 10/26, with no orientation on 9/21 or 10/19. The role involves late stays in a high-volume OR with minimal overtime beyond scheduled hours. The position does not include scrub duties, and the candidate must have a license on file at submission. Candidates should be able to float between ORs but not locations.
