Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) registered nurses are needed in a short term acute care facility located in the specified region. This role involves providing perioperative patient care in a surgical setting, supporting various surgical procedures, and ensuring patient safety throughout the operative process. The position is scheduled for day shifts over a defined contract period.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: 10-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week, starting from 09/08/2026 to 12/08/2026
  • Required Qualifications: Valid state license, at least 0 years of experience, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, experience in the operating room, and proficiency with charting systems such as Epic.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in an operating room environment, familiarity with trauma level II procedures, and previous employment in a community hospital setting.
  • Additional Information:
    • Must be willing to work 3 of the 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve, New Years Day).
    • Candidates should not contact the facility directly unless scheduled for an interview.
    • Travelers may be expected to float between nearby sister facilities; refusal to float may jeopardize assignment eligibility.
    • Must include response to whether the candidate has prior experience at a similar facility or as a traveler.
    • References covering 1 year (6 months for CNAs) within the last 3 years are required.
    • No call-in or unscheduled contact with the facility.
    • All modules must be completed pre-start and during orientation.
