Responsibilities
- Conduct telephone triage to assess patient needs and provide guidance.
- Manage in-basket tasks efficiently to ensure seamless patient care.
- Assist healthcare providers during clinic visits for both new and returning patients.
- Conduct pre-op/post-op and chemotherapy teaching sessions for patients and their families.
- Provide comprehensive patient education, ensuring understanding of treatment plans and procedures.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Outpatient clinic and phone triage experience required.
- Chemo certification (ONS/ONCC) is mandatory.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications are preferred.
- Proficiency in using the Epic charting system.
- Experience with adult patient age groups.
