Summary
Join our dedicated team at WCS Healthcare Partners in Boston, MA, where you will play a crucial role in providing specialized care to newborns in our Level 2B Special Care Nursery. This is an exciting opportunity for experienced RNs to work in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care to newborns in a 25-bed unit that includes labor and delivery (L&D), postpartum (PP), and neonatal care.
- Manage patient care with a clinician-to-patient ratio of 1:2–3 for evaluations and 1:1 for active labor, magnesium GTT, or epidural cases.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest quality of care for mothers and babies.
- Utilize the EPIC electronic medical record system for accurate and timely documentation.
- Participate in rotating shifts, including days, evenings, and nights, with every other weekend required.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of NICU experience required.
- 3 years of experience in a single location and 2 years as a traveler preferred.
- Current AHA BLS and NRP certifications required.
- Strong skills in special care nursery and newborn care.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with a diverse patient population.
