Job Summary:
A Nursing Supervisor position located in the Bronx, New York. This role involves planning and developing programs to enhance patient care and employee performance. The Nursing Supervisor will monitor performance metrics, collaborate with nurse managers to assess units, and assist with implementing corrective actions. The position requires strong record-keeping skills to document medication errors and counseling activities.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shifts, 7.5 hours per shift, with a minimum of 37.5 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: - Seven (7) years of experience, with five (5) years in a supervisory role. - Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited Nursing Program; preferred Master's degree in Nursing. - Certifications & Licensure: RN License, Primary Source Verification of License and Registration of Registered Professional Nurse from the NYS Department of Education (NYSED), BLS.
- Preferred Qualifications: N/A
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: The role includes developing record-keeping systems for medication errors and counseling. The assignment begins on 09/02/2026.
