Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Facility Size: 512 beds
Scrubs: Navy blue
Required Certification: WOCN

Experience Required

• Strong inpatient wound care experience
• Must be able to function independently in an autonomous role
• Comfortable evaluating complex wounds and making treatment recommendations

Key Responsibilities

This RN serves as a hospital-wide wound care consultant for inpatient patients, including:

• Wound assessments
• Treatment recommendations
• Wound measurements and photography
• Weekly wound follow-ups
• New ostomy education
• Complex wound VAC management
• Fistula management
• Collaboration with inpatient care teams regarding wound treatment plans

Must-Have Skills

• WOCN certification
• Independent wound assessment and treatment planning
• Wound VAC troubleshooting and management
• Ostomy education
• Experience with difficult or complex wounds
• Strong documentation and interdisciplinary communication skills

Schedule Highlight

No traditional bedside 12-hour schedule — Monday through Friday, 8 AM–5 PM.
