• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,780 - $1,870
• Schedule Highlights: No weekends or holidays
• Orientation: 16 hours
• Experience Required: 2 years of recent wound care experience preferred

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
• Minimum of 2 years of recent wound care nursing experience
• Previous travel nurse assignment experience required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• WOCN certification required
• Experience with wound, ostomy, and continence care
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced consult-based environment
• Strong documentation, assessment, and patient education skills
• Flu vaccine required
• Must be comfortable supporting a 60-mile traveler radius requirement

Responsibilities

• Assess, treat, and document wound care and ostomy consults for a diverse patient population
• Provide expert nursing care for pressure injuries, ostomies, and complex skin conditions
• Support patient and family education related to wound prevention and ongoing care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop effective care plans
• Participate in daily consult review and team planning
• Deliver real-time education and prevention rounding when census allows
• Support stage III and higher pressure injury debriefs with unit leadership as needed
• Use facility documentation tools and camera capture workflow for admission and follow-up care
• Maintain strong communication and clinical judgment in a high-volume hospital environment
