Position Summary:
Job Summary
Seeking an experienced RN – Telemetry with at least 2 years of recent acute care experience.
The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, monitor cardiac rhythms, and manage patients with complex medical conditions.
Candidates should demonstrate strong clinical judgment, effective communication, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced acute care environment.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to patients in an acute care Telemetry unit.
- Monitor cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and patient conditions, identifying changes promptly.
- Administer medications and treatments safely according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions.
Skills:
- Telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation
- Acute care patient assessment and clinical judgment
- Medication administration and IV therapy
- Care planning, patient education, and discharge coordination
- Strong communication, teamwork, and time-management skills
Documents Required:
- Valid NY State RN license
- BLS, ACLS Certified through AHA
