Job Summary:
Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) position located in Wichita, Kansas. This travel assignment involves providing specialized patient care in a neuro trauma unit, with a focus on telemetry monitoring. The role requires acute care experience, strong clinical skills, and adaptability to a fast-paced environment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, from 09/14/2026 to 12/14/2026
- Required Qualifications: Current RN license; minimum 1 year of recent hospital acute care telemetry experience; BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
- Preferred Qualifications: NIH (National Institutes of Health) Stroke Scale certification; experience with Kangaroo Pumps; familiarity with Meditech electronic medical record system
- Additional Information: The unit has 36 beds with a staff of 70, including nurses, patient care techs, and a unit clerk. Typical patient ratios are approximately 1:6. The unit utilizes Kangaroo Pumps and emphasizes a positive, engaged, and flexible team environment. Staff are experienced in procedures such as bubble studies and EEG. The assignment offers the opportunity to work with new equipment and technology, and provides flexible scheduling options.
